I couldn’t believe this. All this time I was complaining about these dreams and it was all real. It was all a way for Buffy to ask for help from wherever she is. I still had no clue where she was, but I did know who did know and I am sure Angel would want to know too ( Read more... )

"Willow, if you have something to tell me, then tell me now, not later." I said. I didn't care that Dawn was here. Okay, I cared, but right now, it was more important that Willow talked to me instead of trying to protect Dawn.

"Especially if it's about Buffy. I want to hear it." I told Willow, "Dawn and I were just talking about, and if you have something that will help me decide what to do about these dreams, then please, tell me."

This wasn't a time for playing the wait-until-Dawn-isn't-around game. I needed something, a sign, anything to point me in the direction I needed to go instead of sitting here wondering what I should do next.

"Please, Willow." She knows I don't beg for anything, that should give her the motivation to come back in here and talk to me.

I sat up straight in my seat. Willow knew something that she didn't want me to hear, which lately meant it had something to do with Buffy. I didn't care what either of them said. If it was about my sister I was staying right here.

Angel didn't seem to mind that I was here, he wanted to know what Willow had found out now, not later. Did I mention how much I liked Angel. He definitely was no Spike, but he was cool in his own way. Like in the way that he didn't always feel like he needed to treat me like some kid would had no idea how to take care of herself. I was actually a little mad at Willow for that now that I think about it.

"Have you seen her? Did you have another dream?" I asked anxiously.

I just didn't want to worry her if I didn't need to. "Its nothing." I said and thats when I got the look of death. "Ok, it's something, but you have to promise that you won't freak out and go all bloodlusty and vengency on me." I add ( ... )

The minute I heard Lilah and Lindsey's name mentioned, I became enraged. How dare they. Then again, it's probably another day's work for them. I got up from my desk.

"Don't go far. Stay in the hotel. I'm going to give my two favorite people at Wolfram and Hart a visit. Dawn, don't follow me, and Willow, keep her from following me."

I put my jacket on and headed for the door. "You have your answer, now, Dawn and I'm going to help Buffy. I won't let Wolfram and Hart get her."

I opened my mouth...

"Ok, so now you know and I..I can go now right? Good."

I opened it again....

"Don't go far. Stay in the hotel. I'm going to give my two favorite people at Wolfram and Hart a visit. Dawn, don't follow me, and Willow, keep her from following me."

Third times the charm right?

"You have your answer, now, Dawn and I'm going to help Buffy. I won't let Wolfram and Hart get her."

I slouched back in my seat. I was excited and angry all at the same time. Who were Lilah and Lindsey and how come if they were friends of Angel, I'd never met them? What was Wolfram and Hart? Better yet, how come they got to see Buffy and I don't? And last but not least, why couldn't I go along?! She was my sister and she needed me, just like I knew she did.

I threw a 'told you so' look at Willow. She probably had no clue what the look was for but some how it made me feel a little better about being ordered to stay behind. Before Angel could get all the way out the door I opened my mouth one last time.....

"Be careful."

There was no way Angel was just going to bust out and not take me with him. This was Buffy, she was my best friend. "Angel." I say loudly as I try to stop him. "You can't go in there without a plan and Hello, I can help you." I add. He was ready to go all vengency and it wasn't going to be a pretty sight.

"Also.." I whisper as I look back to Dawn and then back to him. "She needs you." The truth was that I just didn't want him going in there and killing our one and only lead. He was angry and that usually leads to the spilling of blood and not only is that gross but it does have a tendancy of killing leads.

"Willow, you don't know these people. I'm not going in there to kill anyone, even if I want to. I've dealt with them before, you haven't. I know exactly what I'm doing and I don't need you getting in the way or getting yourself into the hands of Wolfram and Hart."

I can't believe she's arguing with me. She just doesn't know Wolfram and Hart the way I do, and I swear, she tries to come along, I will force her to stay here.

"I will be back later. No more arguments, Willow, I mean it. Stay here with Dawn and don't even think about following me." Not that I was going to be able to be followed, but I know how resourceful she can be.

"Buffy needs our help and the last thing she needs right now is us arguing while Wolfram and Hart is digging their claws deeper and deeper into her."

I stayed in my chair and listened. Maybe it was just me, but Angel seemed worried. Not about the people he was going to see, but of what they could do to Buffy if he didn't get there first. It scared me. It scared me even more that Willow was arguing with him when time was running out. I wanted to yell, throw things, pull her kicking and screaming back into Angel's office so he could do whatever it was he needed to do to save my sister, but I didn't, I stayed quiet.

These people at Wolfram and Hart had been able to get in touch with Buffy, and Buffy had been getting in touch with us for months we just didn't realize that's what it was, so there must be like a door or something. All Angel had to do was figure out how to use it by beating the information out of these lawyers. I was down with that.

Quickly I got out of my chair and went to the doorway too.

"She wont follow you." I said firmly, crossing my arms and giving Willow a look Buffy usually gave me. "Right?"
