Quick grumble about Mandalorian fanfiction
It's a grumble and not a rant because it's annoying me, not making me mad.
I managed to stay out of the Mandalorian fanfiction until the end of Season 2, when I got sucked into DinnLuke. While I'm still following a few and have branched out I've pulled back because of one thing, OC Mando. Don't get me wrong, I can see depression and grief post-canon but I don't see him crying about it. Just because Dinn got teary eyed saying goodbye doesn't mean he'd break down bawling after the elevator left. I'm sure the Darksaber is going to do the same thing Grogu did and distract him from his pain.(I also believe Grogu will be back in the end of 3 or during 4.)
And the abundance of Force-induced insta-love is ridiculous.
So of course it's got a fic idea in my head.😉
