New manga title rec
It's called 1001 on the online readers.(unfortunately it's not published in English yet.) the manga-ka is Yukiru Sugisaki, the art's as gorgeous as always, but damn the story's almost as warped as CLAMP's many titles.
It's loosely based on 1001 Arabian Nights, but instead of the past it's an alternate dimension. Twin brothers are the reincarnations of a star-crossed couple, but the older twin/past princess was in love with her genie. The younger twin/past king has made advances and tried to kill the older boy even though he remembers the past life and still loves her/him. And just to make matters more confusing, the older twin is constantly mistaken for a girl in the other demension and is developing a reverse harem.
Simply put if you love alot of twists and turns in your titles than this is for you! 😘
