Dec '06 in a flash
Gah, there was much squeeing done during the holiday, but leave it to an earthquake to make Screamyx's internet even worse than it already was -_-xxx I'm having all this fangirlism cooped up inside of me and no LJ to release my squee onto! WTF! Injustice!
It starts off very wrongly with me trying to arrange a meeting with my aunt to thank her like a good niece should (since my family does crash at her place every time they come over to visit me), only to be unable to make it and unable to tell her I'm unable to make it, sending everyone into a frenzy. My dad even considered reporting me missing to the police o.o;;; But it worked out fine, I got home and OMG FFXII.

Now I finally know what's gotten into flail! So sorry, hun, I saw Balthier as your typical hottie in teh pretteh piktures and never really got why you were so all over him, but OMG when he starts SPEAKING... *melts* I now realise I am a fool and know nothing. FFXII has GREAT voice acting, Balthier has the best voice of all, and goddammitall I had to stop playing the game around just after Bur-Omisace. wtfffff. CHINESE NEW YEAR HOLS PLEASE COME FASTER PLEEEEASE!
December was also spent doing stuff! I relearned my blanket stitch! Yes, I KNOW WHAT'S A BLANKET STITCH! I returned any sewing knowledge I gained in Home Ec way back when it no longer became compulsory to take it, but that month, my mom taught it to me all over again and I could finally MAKE something for someone. o^______^o I'm so glad you like it, yin_chan! No, it is NOT better than what you gave me--you sewed me two fricking dolls. TWICE. The only gift worthy of you was, I dunno... the whole freaking AVALANCHE cast or something in return. ♥
These are the pieces of felt put together before eventually being sewn together, but yin-chan has the final product. ^^
I also met yin_chan and Clorith after Christmas! Ahhh, so wonderful! Fangirl meetings ftw! And a girl each from Malaysia, Australia and Singapore to boot! Could the stars BE aligned any MORE perfectly?! Don't worry, my dear Clotay friends, we three were too busy squeeing over each other and dragging yin's mind through the gutter to plot a Cleris world domination. XDDD Gyargh, this was the ONE thing I desperately wanted to squee about the moment I got home... AND COULDN'T! *dumps tardballs all over Screamyx* The month would've been made all the more perfect had I managed to arrange something with madsqueeble T_T But there will be CNY for that!!
I also spectacularly failed to find any Roxas merchandise for my Secret Santa-ee. And I was SO sure it'd be an easy hunt too... Talk about getting ahead of myself. x_x Ended up putting together a simple artpad for her with KH-ish designs and a Roxas border. I wasn't satisfied with the end result, wish I was more creative with all these artsy stuff, but it was really nice of her to send me a thank you email for it.
End of December and early January was spent playing around with our new, shiny oven. And gaining lots of weight as a result of consuming the products from said shiny oven.
Funny, you'd think a post like this would have tons of photos. Shows how much I phail at picspamming.
I can't help but draw an inverse connection between all this productivity and internetz access. XD;
