Am I the only one who liked Aerith's CC dress? Shows what taste I have, huh. Or maybe it's come to the point that Aerith in a big, black garbage bag would make me happy. *fistshakes @ SE*
I'm posting now, acting as if I've already started my holidays, when I actually have one more paper on Wednesday. Can't help it, though. Again, this is all SE's fault. The trailer came out, and now I'm in the mood to fangirl about EVERYTHING.
Fangirl Babble I: Fate/Stay Night
I finally downloaded and finished watching this! If I were writing this before the last few episodes, I would've fangirled and drooled all over Saber's outfit. Finally, I would say, a swordswoman whose breasts AREN'T falling out of a measly few scraps of iron duct-taped over all the wrong places her armour! And her outfit reminded me of the female swordie's from Ragnarok Online. It was awesome. The praise still came even with Rider's outfit, but the praise totally flew down the gutter into the sewage of wtf-age when Sakura wore that... that THING... in the last few episodes.
Please don't tell me garters are good for spiritual circulation. -_-
But Rider and Sakura's outfits now make a little more sense when you read Wiki and it informs you that Fate was originally an ero-ish game. *enlightened!* As did that scene where you had to have sex to increase the bond between Master and Servant. :3
Oh well. It was still a nice watch. I was supposed to steadily pace it out to one episode every couple of days, but ended up in an impromptu marathon sometime two weeks ago. Conclusion: Archer is awesome, Gilgamesh needs to go around with his hair DOWN more often because the Vegeta look really doesn't suit him, Emiya is not Xenosaga!Jr., and Shinji makes Snowe look like Tir.
Fangirl Babbling II: Death Note
L IS SO MUCH LOVE. Yes, I know I'm late to the fandom, but L's fandom is so large anyway, nobody'll notice one small girl squealing frantically on the fringes. SO MUCH LOVE.
And the best thing is, he has BAGGY EYES LIKE ME. Bwahaha. Now all I need to do is lose an exorbitant amount of weight and I can cosplay him. His cosplay clothes is MY WHOLE WARDROBE.
I thought that Fate marathon was bad. It WAS a bad idea since I'd then ran out of anime to watch, which led me to read just a teeeeeny tiny bit of the Death Note manga... Just a teeny bit. I wouldn't read past where the anime stopped. Nope. Nooooooooooope.
JUST A TEENY BIT. RLY.

Have I ever expressed my utter LOATHING for cliffhangers? Stupid manga cliffhangers. Dragging me from chapter to chapter. Until I finished them all in (two? let's cut me some slack) three nights. ARGH. RIGHT BEFORE THE EXAM. OMGGGG D:

What is all the hate for I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker? I don't know anything about punks, but even I know they didn't wear flowers in their hair. I would guess a singer who wrote a song for them would know that too. I would assume having surface knowledge of punk rock is like BREATHING to singers. It's basically just a song wishing for nostalgic older days. When the world was bigger, when things (felt) more innocent, when mysteries were still mysteries and Fancy still held some sway over our imagination.
When an era happened long enough ago, it will always feel better than the present. Just like when Romanticists heralded the greatness of the medieval period--nevermind, you know, that they were likely to have been serfs bound as slaves to their noble masters back in those times. Medieval times were soooo much better than steam engines or germ theories.
And jumping randomly to the next topic: to-do list for holiday! Crap crap crap I STILL HAVE EXAMS THE TERM IS NOT YET OVER WHY ARE YOU PLANNING NOW?!!
Actually, it's nothing much. I've been tempted to start a little project since stumbling upon an art shop in Takashimaya. Everything there is so EXPENSIVE, though. Where are those thrift stores and trinket shops everybody says are in your neighbourhood? "Go to your local neighbourhood thrift store"--well I DON'T have those in my neighbourhood, thanks. They don't exist. Like Spiderman. D: Will see how this goes.
And that's it for holiday plans. :P
Oh. I will play FFXII. I will play it, and I will finish it before term starts next year. SO HELP ME GOD IF YOU DON'T LET ME DO THIS---I have not watched an ounce of TV (REAL TV, the kind on a idiot box and not on a laptop monitor) SINCE AUGUST hdoad'sfl;a'; so you'd BLOODY WELL HAD BETTER LET ME PLAY THAT DAMN GAME WITHOUT PROBLEMS WHEN I GET BACK. *Rabid Fangirl Snarl*
