Ryo was not happy about this at all. He felt that he was pretty much going to feed one of the only friends he had made here in Korea to the very people he had fed Japan to escape. His stomach was doing flips.

Not really in a caring mood, and not knowing if the door was locked, Ryo phased through the door to Shuu's apartment. He stood on the other side, hands in his pockets, his eyes scanning the small apartment rather than looking at Shuu.

Shuu stood quickly at the sound of Ryo's voice, vaguely surprised that he hadnt heard the door open but then he knew about the other man's powers so it was that much of a shock. THere was no smile in greeting and Shuu merely nodded his head at him.

"Hey. Thank you doing this, it means a lot." Amaya was peeking over the top of the sofa at him, eyes wide and scared as she looked at the man she didnt know.

Ryo had a way of sneaking up on people because of his powers, but he had really never cared. It wasn't important right now anyway.

"Yeah, yeah..." Ryo wanted a cigarette, but now was not the time. It was hard enough to bring himself here at all. Sector Y was the stuff of his reoccurring nightmares. The last thing he wanted to do was feed Shuu to them. He knew that they sometimes let people go...but who could know for sure?

Ryo tried to smile for Amaya. He waved a little at her. "Hello. I'm Ryo..." he directed at her, trying to send off a better vibe than he was feeling.

The little girl waved back, her tiny chubby fingers wiggling over the edge of the sofa before her hand and her head disappeared and she just cuddled up in the sofa, clutching her giraffe teddy.

Shuu smiled a bit then beckoned Ryo over to the kitchen, sitting at the table and lighting up a cigarette, watching the smoke twist and spiral upwards before speaking quietly, "...So where are they?"

Ryo was glad that Amaya was at least not too afraid of him anymore. It would help if he was going to look after her for the next few days. Or at least, he hoped it would be the next few days. He had his worries.

Ryo sat at the table next to Shuu, watching him smoke.

"I was only familiar with the Sector in Japan...so I made a call or two...had a look around." He could travel quickly and silently with his powers. He had to be extra careful though, he didn't want this coming back on him...not at all.

"Downtown in one of the government buildings...I'll show you from far away...but that's all. I can't have your back on this one, Shuu..."

Shuu had no intention of putting Ryo in harm's way - it was easy to see that the man was terrified and just the mere thought of this Sector. Nodding as he listened, he tapped out the ash into an ashtray. "You don't even have to show me. Just give me a description an--" Amaya chose this time to come waddling up to him, hugging his leg tightly and staring at the stranger through her hair. Shuu placed a protective hand over her shoulders and continued, "Yeah, description and directions and I can find it. I dont want you to get so involved in this."

Ryo watched Amaya, frowning. He gave Shuu a serious look, looked down at Amaya, and then met Shuu's gaze again.

"I will. Just..." Are you sure you want to do this? Ryo had a hard time even asking. He knew the answer was yes, but he didn't want it to be. He didn't want to lose another person he cared about to the Sector. He had lost too much already.

He bent down to Amaya level, smiling down at the little girl, patting her head and running his fingers through his head. "Your dad tells me all these wonderful things about you, Amaya~" he said, smiling the kindest smile he could manage. She reminded him of the cousins and little siblings Sector Y had taken away.

"Downtown, [insert description and address of Sector Z HQ]...I'm sure they have a lot of security...can you handle it?" Ryo finally said, looking back up at Shuu, hand remaining on Amaya.

At Ryo's look, Shuu simply held his gaze on the other man's face, almost challenging him to try and stop him. He nodded, "I need him back." He said simply ( ... )

"I know..." He did. He knew the feeling. He knew the feeling so keenly, more than he cared to know it.

Ryo picked up Amaya gently and placed her in his lap, sitting on the chair again. "Yep, I am...we'll have lots of fun, how does that sound?" He tried his best to keep a happy face for her. He would try his best to keep Amaya happy while her father was gone.

"As long as you're sure..." Ryo didn't want to mention that people at the Sector were trained to fight people like Shuu. He hoped that it would be enough.

"Roger that~ We can do that, right, Amaya? It will be teamwork, right?" He looked down at the girl and bounced the girl on his knee, smiling. He looked back up at Shuu, giving him a small smile.

"You're welcome...just....come back, okay?"

Amaya giggled as she was bounced and clutched his arm tightly, "Happy~" She laughed. Certain that she would be fine in Ryo's capable care, Shuu nodded and hesitated, then forced himself to move, kissing the top of Amaya's head and then giving Ryo a quick hug.

"I'll be back by tomorrow morning. And could you do me one last favor? Stay at your apartment. I think they know where I live and I just... Amaya's special too and I dont want her taken away..."

"Good~" He grinned and hugged her. She was cute. He missed having anyone close to him. He figured he would like to take care of her. Ryo squeezed Shuu a little in the hug. "Be careful..." He allowed himself to say.

"They won't find me. No worries." He stood, gathering Amaya in his arms. "I'll protect her." He looked around the apartment. "Amaya...we're going to have a sleep over, okay? What do you want to take for the sleepover?" He looked to Shuu.

"Did you pack a bag for her or something?"

"You're a true friend, Ryo. Thank you again." He ruffled Ryo's hair, allowing himself a moment's happiness before his grin faded and he nodded, going to Amaya's bedroom and coming back with a small Disney princesses bag packed with a change of clothes, a book, and a couple of her favorite teddies. He handed it to Ryo.

"Right. So..."

Ryo frowned a little at getting his hair ruffled, and he just stuck his tongue out at Shuu. Ryo took the bag when Shuu came back with it, safely carrying Amaya and the bag. He was ready now.

"Right, I'll get going..." Ryo went towards the door, not bothering to open it, just taking Amaya through it with his powers.

"You better come back, you ass," he said right before they passed through the door. Ryo speak for "good luck".

"Bye..." He said, a little forlornly as he watched them disappear through the door and Amaya's giggling at the sensation was the last thing he heard.

It was time to go.
