Time Warner Sucks
Ok, this isn't news. Everyone in Ithaca knows how much Time Warner sucks and wishes there were a viable alternative for high speed internet, much less TV. However, they have brought their suck to a new level by charging my account this month $1.81 (yeah, I know its not much, but that's not the point) which they claim I owe them from 9 years ago - that's right, 9 years ago!!!
I've had TWC at a number of places since then, not to mention when I close an account and get a final bill I pay it, so where is this mysterious $1.81 coming from. Did they just not bother to bill me? As a pack rat, I should actually have a copy of my Time Warner bills from 9 years ago (sad, but true) and when I get home, I'm going to dust those off and see what I can find. Maybe I do owe them, but seriously - 9 years... Verizon FIOS please, please, please, be available at my house sometime soon, so I can tell TWC where to shove it.
