Yikes!
As if having your cat bit in the butt isn't bad enough, we were awakened by the doorbell ringing madly and the neighbor asking for help. Seems her house was on fire and so her phone wasn't working, could we please call 911 for her. She was way more calm than I'd have been if it'd been my place. I also loaned her a jacket because its cold out in the middle of the night when you're only in PJ's. Sounded like the fire started in the wiring as it was in the walls and most of the damage appears to be to her attic, but as many of you are aware, any fire is bad.
