Our campmates left Monday, so a lot of our daylight time was spent helping them tear down and pack up. I forgot to put sunscreen on my feet, so I added sunburn to all the spiderbites. The Unity Ritual on Friday went very well. I'm always in awe of how Sue's power comes through in her invocations. The big surprise was Fox returning to the fold, as it were. We had a great day yesterday. Needing to get out (me especially...working from home gets to me after a while), we decided to take a trip up to Niles to hit REI for some camping gear and Bloomingdales for new kitchenware. The large fry pan I use has bowed over the years, and everything drains off to the edges, leaving the middle to overheat and burn ( Read more... )

Oh, Lord - neighbor drama. Our upstairs neighbors are being thrown out by our landlord for reasons unknown. At least we don't know what they are; they were told it was because a sale was imminent and that the owner wanted to live in their flat rather than ours.
