After playing WoW waaaay too late last night, we got up late and had a lazy morning. I helped Seoka fix her iTunes problems (library management is something they have GOT to fix). I showed her about Google Reader for searching Craigslist, and gave her some advice about a cheapo laptop for her work. She starts a new job next week at a private clinic--I think she'll be much happier there. As I understand it, her current position with the university's psych clinic is like rushing headlong at a new definition of insanity.

Jeremy called while I was upstairs with Seoka, wanting to see if we wanted to go to dinner at El Nandu with him and Ray. We had an amazing meal (as usual) with empanadas and sangria. I ordered the Argentinian steak with grilled onions, and Chris had the steak with goat cheese. After dinner we all returned to the house to watch Mame, and have coffee. Ugh, I'm full.

We're entertaining the possibility of taking a trip to Italy with J&R sometime in the future. I still have cousins living near Ancona, and more distant family somewhere around Avigliana-Potenza. Chris would love to see Rome, and I'd love to spend more time in the north. J&R found the ruins at Ostia Antica really amazing, and I'm sure it would be a blast. Now that Chris has experienced Iceland, I think convincing him to explore the rest of Europe would be no challenge at all.

Now I'm watching Metal Mania, marveling at how Gene Simmons ever found 4000+ women to have sex with. And how Yngwie Malmsteen was ever allowed to make an album. I'm guessing large amounts of alcohol were involved in both instances.
