Wellspring
Well, it should be...interesting. We have all the dramatic elements in place - all the makings of a 'turning point' for the org, although bets on whether it's a good one or a bad one are too close to call.
I don't trust people easily, and trust lost is lost forever with me. From what I've seen over the years I've been involved in ADF, I can say I trust my local Grovemates, and a very few friends in other Groves, but that's about it. When Chris and I met, I started out liking ADF very much, although I'd never call myself a Druid. Through the years of being the listmaster I saw some of the absolute worst of ADF - namely how they nearly deify some people regardless of how much trouble they are or how bad for the overall org they were. It seemed like that was changing, but lately I fear those old habits returning, and it bodes ill for the future.
What will happen? I've made my predictions to a few, and have prayed that they don't come to pass. I know what the cards say, but beyond that - who knows? Now that the Seventh Sign has already happened last year at Summerlands, I think there's a very, very rocky road ahead.
