VICIOUS
Characterized by vice
Corrupt in principles or conduct
Foul, bad, noxious
Base, low, vile, evil
Marked by malice or spite
Bitter, spiteful, malignant
Marked by deep ill will
Deliberately harmful

NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER
Characteristics of people with this disorder:
*Self-centered, self-absorbed
*Arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes
Unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
*Crave constant and excessive affection and admiration from others
*Need to be the center of attention and to control events
*Create dramatic crises to obtain attention and to return the focus to themselves
Exaggerate achievements and talents
Reacts to criticism from others with feelings of rage, shame or humiliation
*Believe they are "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special people
*Expect to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements
Preoccupied with fantasies of success, power, beauty, intelligence, or ideal love
*Feel as if everyone owes them without any contribution on their part
*Take advantage of others to achieve their own ends
*Often jealous of others or believes that others are jealous of them

PSYCHOSIS
Characteristics of people who suffer from psychosis:
Not in contact with reality like most people
Sensing things that aren't really there (hallucinations)
*Having beliefs that aren't based on reality (delusions)
*Problems in thinking clearly
*Not realising that there is anything wrong with themselves (lack of insight)
*Problems getting on well with other people
Caused by genetic predisposition, chemical imbalance, psychological mechanism, use of illegal drugs, medical conditions (menningitis, cancer, epilepsy, head injury)
Can be single occurrence or life-long condition
***Treatable with medication, therapy, familial and social support networks
