Today was Twin/Hero day. Kalie and I dressed alike. People have asked me 'Where's your sister?' and been dead serious. Except for the ACE wrap on my right elbow, we look pretty good. She's wearing more of my clothes than of hers, but oh well. Tomorrow is Occupation/Tacky day. I'm planning on wearing Timberland boots, old softball shorts, a nice blouse, large earrings, and my 10X Stetson. OR I may wear my khakis, my white button-down dress shirt, and a black tie, with a black belt and my black dressy-ish boots. Opinions, anyone?
Horror Fest was hilarious. I have this 2 ft. wide futon that I was laying o during the movies, and we had Rainey and April on the loveseat and the Ericas and Sarah on the couch. We watched Halloween first (good movie), then Scream, then They. Sometime during the first 10 minutes of Scream, Rainey and April ended upon the futon with me, nearly shoving me off onto the fireplace bricks.Rainey took nearly all of my comforter (it's big enough for a queen-size bed), and was huddled under it, screaming every few minutes and squeezing all life out of my arm.April had her face buried against my shoulder and used the same thing to muffle her screams. As all 5 of them screamed, mom and I were laughing our heads off. Horror movie victims are so stupid. I chased all of them out of my bed upstairs after They, so 2 were in Jessi's bed and 3 were on the pull-out couch. They'd not let me shut the door or turn off the lamp. I ended up face-planting and pulling the blankets above my head to go to sleep around 6. We (as in I) woke up around 8, and launched an ice-water attack to wake the youngsters up. It was funny...*evil grin*
You oughta see the halls! All but the sophmore halls look excellent. Freshman and Junior halls look best. Lights are all funky, we have strobe lights, all kinds of interesting stuff.
Get report cards tomorrow (or tonight, for those that go to open house). Oh boy.
