Recent (discounted) beauty haul!
I have been hauling beauty products lately! Why?
I have used up quite a number of products & my "reserves" are running low. So what better way than to make use of the recent sales to stock-up? *grins* Shopping AND saving $$ at the same time...totally my cup of tea!
Anyway, this is my small haul from the Watsons members' sale which was held yesterday. I was so proud of myself because i made a list of what i wanted to buy (based on FB updates on the Watsons page) and i stuck to it. No impulse purchases and i made sure the products i purchased were really good deals.
1) L'Oreal Youth Code
It was sold at a special price of $29.90! That means a savings of 25%! Naturally i grabbed 2 bottles.
2) Tsubaki Head Spa extra cleansing shampoo & treatment mask
I love this...it makes my scalp & hair feel super clean & light. I used this deep cleansing range once a week.
3) NuTeen sleeping mask
This is my fave sleeping mask cos it controls my acne-prone skin and keeps my skin hydrated at the same time. I like the fresh scent and how it's easily absorbed by my skin.
And the most value-for-$$ hauls?! From SaSa Holland Village as this particular outlet is closing and they are clearing stocks! The last day of operation is this Sunday (26 August) and together with my colleagues, we have been hitting the store since last Wednesday since it's so near our workplace. In fact, I have made 3 separate visits and this is my collective haul!
1) Kao Essential treatment
I actually bought 3 tubes but 1 is already in use. This was such a fabulous promotion (thanks to kimoko) and i just couldn't pass it up...how else am i going to buy a tube at S$3.45??!!! I prefer this orange version to the pink one cos i find the pink one not as "powerful" and it actually left my hair with lots of flyaways post-wash. I'm sticking to the orange version!
2) Bifesta eye & lip makeup remover
This was going at 30% discount and it's also my HG waterproof eye m/u remover. I have purchased this many times and i go through a bottle pretty quickly since i use waterproof eyeliner daily. At S$9 each and bundled with a travel size sebum cleansing water, it's a very very good lobang!
Best part of this Closing Down Sale??? All Maybelline & L'Oreal products (cosmetics & skincare) were slashed by 50%. ALL! Every single product except the latest Miss Candy range from L'Oreal. I kicked myself for not heading to the sale earlier as the Youth Code boosting essence was sold at only S$19.90...but nevermind, that's just too bad.
Everything you see in the photo above was sold at half the original retail price, which means i paid around S$50. *grins* If you are going to be in the Holland Village/Clementi area this weekend, do stop by SaSa to stock up on your beauty products. Lots of other products are greatly discounted and the sale ends this Sunday.
So, it looks like i won't be buying skincare or makeup soon! I still have lots of "reserves" from my Taipei trip a few months ago.
