Kim's Kitchen tingkat -- Day 3
Here's my next review of our tingkat vendor -- Kim's Kitchen!
Note: As usual, all photos were taken after my maid had taken her share of dinner.
Overall comments:
- Very yummy
- Ample food for us adults at home
- Food arrived at 4.30pm
Dish 1: Unique sauce chicken
- Very very delicious!!!
- Meat was thoroughly cooked
- Some parts of the skin still crispy
- My fave dish of the meal!
Dish 2: Curry Yong tau foo
- More laksa flavour than curry
- Not too spicy
- Nicely flavoured
Dish 3: Dried shrimp with wife veggie (老婆菜)
- Slightly overcooked but still some crunch
- Can taste the hay bee
- Slightly oily
Soup: White fungus chicken
- Delicious
- Generous amounts of white fungus & diced carrots
- Not too salty
Verdict: Good & very satisfactory! I wish the veggies were less oily though.

So far the best part of us ordering tingkat dinner is my very clean kitchen! Haha... I don't like it whenever my MIL cooks cos the entire kitchen gets oily as she doesn't use the "sucking hood" above the stove. Now I don't face this problem anymore!
