Sandy update
So far we have some drizzle and some brisk breezes. And the temperature has dropped to just below 60 degrees.
Apparently the news around the nation is basically saying "everyone on the east coast has drowned," because we've had a ridiculous number of panicked phone calls from parental units (which, oh, right, we couldn't have received on our landline if we didn't have power, silly parents who didn't call our cell phones).
We are expecting to lose power sometime tomorrow from the high winds, so if you don't hear from me on storm updates for the next few days, that may be why. Otherwise, I'll try to post at least once a day for the duration of the storm and its aftermath so people know we're okay.
School has been canceled for Monday and Tuesday.
