A loud thump startled Matsuda Kenji. The weird sound came from the living room of Takigawa Eiji's apartment. He hurried from the genkan, guessing that there must be something wrong with the fellow Support Monster actor. And he had guessed right, because he found the younger man standing in the middle of the room with his bag on the floor. Takigawa Eiji looked horrified, holding a tiny black and pink cloth in his hands.

"What's wrong?" asked Matsuda. It was his first time at Takigawa's place and also his first time seeing Takigawa with that kind of look.

Takigawa looked up, stammered, and bursted out, "Aniki, they're GONE! Somebody must have KIDNAPPED them!!!"

"Who?!" asked Matsuda, feeling his new friend's panic infecting him.

Lifting the cloth clutched with his both hands, like it was the most precious thing in the whole world, Takigawa almost practically wailed, "Q AND PEARL~!"

"...," Matsuda had to resist the urge to roll his eyes. Everyone at the Kiva set had already known how much of a pet otaku Takigawa was.

"They usually greet me at the genkan! And they always come immediately when I call! But... but...!" The Frankenstein monster actor started pacing back and forth around the room, knocking some books and magazines from the table off to the floor.

Rubbing the bridge of his nose, Matsuda raised a hand. "Wait, wait. Um... maybe they're hiding in the kitchen?"

Takigawa turned abruptly, eyes shining with a new hope. "You're right! Thanks Aniki!"

Sighing, Matsuda made himself comfortable at the couch while the other man rushed towards the kitchen.

But a few minutes later, he had to sigh yet again because Takigawa returned empty-handed. And with a forlorn look plastered upon his face.

As soon as he sat down, Takigawa started a long rant about how it was highly unlikely for his beloved family members to find a way out of the apartment because the door and windows were always secured with double locks and about how cute Pearl and Q were that everyone who set their eyes on them would immediately fell in love and about how dangerous it was because nobody knew how many evil people were there in today's world and how puzzled he was because there were no signs of unknown people entering the apartment and about how cute Pearl looked in her black and pink shirt and how could anyone have the heart to take the lovely shirt away from his princess.

Matsuda was considering to call the police when the door bell rang.

The two men looked at each other for a split of second.

"That must be the kidnapper!" stated Takigawa, and dashed towards the door before Matsuda could even say a word.

Infuriated, Takigawa harshly opened the door. Then there was a pop and he found himself suddenly showered with glittering confettis.

Indeed, it was actually the kidnapper of Q and Pearl who was standing outside his door. But the bunny and puppy did not look bothered at all, both wearing golden sparkly ribbons around their necks which was tied into a perfect butterfly knot. Pearl was even wearing a white shirt with matching golden sparkly decorations on it. And they were being held by a cat. A big white fluffy cat with a wide naughty grin upon its face.

"Happy Birthday Buchou~!" the cat said cheerfully.

Takigawa was dumbfounded.

Until someone behind him chuckled. Matsuda was already putting on his shoes back and slipped through the door. "Excuse me, Takigawa-kun. I think I have to go somewhere else to...uh, run some errands. I don't know you have... um," Matsuda threw an amused look at the big white fluffy cat, "a lovely cat?"

"B...But Aniki... I...," Takigawa struggled for words to explain the situation, to no avail.

"Just don't be late for tomorrow's taping!" Matsuda waved a hand and disappeared from sight with a chuckle.

"Did I do something wrong?" the cat was grinning even more evilly as he tilted his head slightly, paused, and added, "Nya~?"

Takigawa sighed, then smiled and shook his head. "Not really."

The former Tezuka actor thought that Kimeru was only threatening when he said that he would kidnap Q and Pearl. That day, he found out that the singer was a man of his words after all.
