Yupp, there was one time where they have the booth at Esplanade showcasing batik painting and have the drawings (small size of course) ready so that people can try painting on them. I got the name card of one of the artist who was there,so... :D
Haha. Actually the students are allowed to choose from normal painting, fashion design, batik painting, digital media, sculpture etc for the exam. I used to take the subject, and chose painting+mixed media, but then it was too time consuming so I dropped it :/

Try it if you have time! There used to be short courses at batik events that enables us to make the paintings and bring home a handkerchief we made ourselves. But I haven't tried either. ^^;
Uh huh, sounds really time consuming. And with batik you have to make the same patterns over and over and be precise with the design so...I guess I won't be any good in it. XP

Yupp, have to present everything from the photo study and sketches, further studies of the objects and manipulating them, colour scheme and final work draft , and then the huge-ass final work OTL
I doubt I can do it too~ I'm not patient even when doing painting XDDD
