Wow, Kamu-chan really doesn't know how to cook huh? I could help you make some soup if you wanted. There's also medicine at a few of the stores around the city.

I don't, I just never cared to learn.

I could use the help, and I'll probably go out to find some medicine soon.

If wanted I could come over and make something and pick some up on the way.

I'm making the request. I can at least do some of the footwork.

If you want, you can come over. Serenity has a lot of supplies here.

Well Kamu-chan has done favors for me so it wouldn't hurt. So who's sick?

You're staying at Serenity's now? Ahh, I guess the two of you really are close then.

My housemate. [Kamui wouldn't have mind saying more, but he didn't want it to get back to Subaru. Not that he didn't trust Kio to keep his privacy, he feels the walls have ears he could be overheard.]

And yes, I'm her house quest. Close? Funny, she says the same thing about you.

[Back to the medicine.] But if you happen to pass by a store that would have medicine then I can't stop you from going inside.

Haha, well we are. It just surprises people because Kamu-chan seems really distant at first.

I'll be sure to bring some then.

Distant, of course. You out of most people should know why.

Then I'll wait for you here.

I understand, but I don't think it would hurt to let a few people close. It didn't change anything between us, did it.

Thirty minutes then.

Only a few people know...and that's just fine for me. [He didn't need the whole world knowing. That would only create problems for him.] You haven't changed, but I know of people in my past who did take it differently.

Ahh.

By the way what were you trying to cook? What kind of soup?

I heard that Chicken Noodle soup was good for colds.

That's what a lot of people say, you could also try Okayu if Chicken and Miso doesn't work.

Okayu?

It's a rice porridge, a lot of people consider it a comfort food or something to help someone get well. It's easy to digest and is easy to eat, and you can add different ingredients based on what they like. Like egg or meat or vegies.

...I don't know what he likes. But I think that would be better than any soup.
