summer ball
The Swansea Uni Summer Ball is June 10th (after exams) at Abbey Meadows. For once in my life, I actually want to go to something like this. A couple of bands/groups that are scheduled to play have already been posted (Goldie Lookin' Chain and The 411) and apparently, they're gonna get some more. I don't think you need to bring someone (yay!) but it is formal (boo!).
So I bought my Eurail tickets for Germany and Denmark. Cost a pretty penny ($204 + shipping and handling and insurance for a grand total of $239), but it'll get us around 6 places in Germany and Denmark and is good for up to 2 months. These are the places that I want to go: Copenhagen, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, and Vienna. Yeah, that's in Austria, but I'm hoping we could get a coach or a diff train to go there. Otherwise, maybe Bremen or somewhere. 2 weeks in Germany! HUZZAH!
Oooo!!! St. Patrick's Day in Dublin is coming up--got a green hoodie for the occasion (not much other green in the shops that I would wear). Gotta think of where I want to go over the summer and when I'll be coming...home. Blah. I DON'T WANT TO GO HOME!!! NOT YET! Time has flown by waaaaaay too quickly. Help me think of a way for me to stay here longer!!!
