(no subject)
So on Wednesday, October 13th, I got married to Diana. Finally, after all this time, she and I are really together and we are very happy for it. We spent the past couple weeks preparing for our party and wedding reception and moving into our apartment. Everything is coming together very nicely and it's starting to look like a home. We had a bunch of friends come into town to visit us for the reception. We had a lot of fun, but at the same time we are also glad that it's all over so we can finally actually get some time to ourselves without having to worry about much of anything. It's going to be nice to come home and not have to unpack a bunch of stuff... we'll actually have time to take Ever-Raine to the playground and sit and watch movies. For now, there's still a lot of work left to do but it will be worth it.
On another note, I guess I haven't even posted that I finally finished college in May with a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems. I could go back for more, but... no. I don't want to. I have a decent job where I can get certifications and move up in the world from there and that's enough for me.
Diana is working for a graphic design business in town doing what she loves to do, too! Sometimes she hates her job because of her boss but everyone dislikes at least one person they work with. At least she loves what she's doing and has fun with it usually.
Basically I guess I am just wanting to update, for those of you who care, to let you all know that I am okay. It took me a long time to finally figure out who I am, who I want to be, and how I want to get there, but I truly do feel like I am in a place where I can be happy now.
I'll try to update this more often, and I probably will once things settle down. For now, like I said above, there's still a lot of work to do in our apartment. Once that's all done I'll talk to you all again!
