[Of course, this is before he tells her he loves her and kisses her in-canon. (Even if it is a lie and flying out from pretty much nowhere.) Therefore, Yui is utterly oblivious.]

He likes boys? [Because really, why else would he not be interested in girls? No one doesn't like romance!]

He's just not the type of person to fall in love--he's got more important things to do, is the way he sees it, I think. He seems very cold and impassive to most people.

Mmm... [She nods as though she understands.] But he deserves love, too, don't you think?

It's not that he isn't loved, it's that he doesn't seem to want to be loved.

[She seems sad for him briefly, before giving a wistful smile. She really misses him.] You would love him, Usagi-chan. He's one of the nicest, most caring people I know. He'd been taking care of me for months in the book world; he's never left my side and he's always indulged me and protected me. He's like a big brother that you never have to fight with.

[Oh, Yui. If only you knew.]

[If only Usagi knew. But as she doesn't, she accepts it all easily at face value.]

He sounds really wonderful. I'm sure you'll be able to see him again some day! So just wait awhile. We'll all be here with you until you can see him.
