The diving team was much more energetic than what Momo was used to. For one thing they talked non stop. She was a fan of talking and laughing, for sure, she wasn’t sure she could survive without someone to confide in and to laugh with, but these girls took it to the extreme.
It made her feel somewhat shy and serious when they were in diving practice and she was the only one not giggling over the hot math professor, or the cute genius, or that one person who couldn’t possibly be smart enough to maintain an academic scholarship but oh was he cute. Personally, it made her feel a little left out, and a bit more on the outside of the circles that seemed to revolve around the school. It wasn’t that she didn’t fit in, she did in several aspects, it was just that she didn’t know how to meld into that little world of constant giggles and chatter.
Personally her favorite time was before practice when she got there early to do some warm up laps. Then it was just her and the coach talking, quietly, about the moves he wanted her to try that day. Those were good moments, before the chatter, before the giggles.
She would find a way to fit into that one day, she wanted to. She wanted to share in their chatter and laughter. It just wasn’t today.
SAMPLE JOURNAL ENTRY:
I like it here a lot more than I like it at the other place that he had me going to. I don’t understand the people here all that much just yet. There very different from everyone that I am used to dealing with. For one thing… most of them have so much money; I don’t know if they know what to do with it all. Others like me are here only because we managed to get scholarships… it gives everything either a happy go lucky feel or one of a lot of pressure.
I think I am handling it all okay right now. I want Granny to be happy wherever she is looking down on me, happy and proud. I really hope I am not failing her.
I want to make her proud. I want to be proud of myself.
Maybe I will become a teacher. I have been giving that a lot of thought… if I study hard and get the sort of education that is required to help pass on knowledge, then I could help kids in orphanages like I was.
I think that would make Granny proud.

Seireitei Preparatory Academy (SPA) is glad to welcome you back. We sincerely hope that your Third Year experience will be equally as impressive and enriching as your First and that you find everything once again to your proper accommodation. Please respond to this notice with your selected Network Username for the school's database as soon as possible, as well as join seireitei_prep and seireitei_ooc.
As a Third Year you are eligible to attend the weekend trips to the financial center of our growing country, New York City, more commonly known as Manhattan. Understand that this is a privilege and will be stripped should a student show any unseemly behavior. All students must bring the signed permission forms with them to be presented on the first weekend trip. There will be two staff members to accompany the group.
If a permission slip is not presented, the student does not go. There is no negotiation. Anyone caught trying to sneak out on one of these trips, and truly, at all, will be punished accordingly.
On that note, as a returning student, we are certain you remain aware of the regulations we uphold here at Seireitei, but should you need a reminder, you may find them → HERE.
Any violation can be held as a reason to be suspended and/or expelled by the proper authority.
Hoping you are well and wishing you a delightful new school year,
The Registrar and Board of Academic Advisory
