*high pitched, excited squeal*

First of all, last weekend in Toronto was awesome!  It was so great to see and stay with Liz and Dan.  Liz and I even survived the bridal show relatively unscathed.  Though we did avoid the frightening lines by the cake and chocolate fountains.  There is the coolest limo bus thingy that I'm trying to convince her to get for us to party in... I somehow doubt it will happen.  But she seems to be doing pretty well with the planning and she won't get too crazy to handle which is good.  AND as I was getting on the bus to leave Toronto this past weekend, Liz asked me to be her maid of honour!!!  It's kinda scary and I've never done anything so girly but I'm really excited.  I nearly cried when she told me too 'cause I'm just a sap like that.  The only thing stopping me was the hundreds of people around me in the crowded station.

I had dinner with Seanna, Meagan, Jeremy, Liz, and Dan at the Spaghetti Factory too.  This was amazing.  I hadn't been there in ages and it was so great to see them all again!  I really miss all of my friends while I'm up here.  It was just so much easier when we all went to the same school.  (Stating the obvious, I know)

I called the director I used to work with back in high school.  She's doing Beauty and the Beast as the show that reopens the Grand Theatre after way too many years of renovations.  She remembered me after all these years and she said that she'd be more than happy to have me on her crew!!! :D *jumps up and down*

My favourite stage manager, Jim, is working it, and my uncle is the ASM and it'll be some of the old theatre crowd that helped me to get the bug in the first place.  Plus, there will be some wonderful new faces as well.  I'm excited to get back in with that crowd of people (especially now that I'm not just the little high school tag-along).  Finally, I'll be able to go to the bar with them after the show and have a beer legally!  Hopefully I can get some pointers from some of them about Kingston theatre and perhaps get a few together for a cabaret or something.

I start rehearsals as soon as I get back to Kingston in February and we run from May 2-17 as far as I know.  Everyone should come see it!!  I have no idea who the cast is (they're auditioning Jan. 17-19) but I'm sure that it will be a great show, they always are!  If there's an option for a cameo as a napkin or something (or a cheese grater) I'm going to jump on it too.  Then I can say that I've done it and it'll be kind of fun to get more stage experience.  I am so far beyond excited that I can't even describe it!  I can't wait!  Approximately 30 more sleeps!!!  Finally I'll get my theatre fix.

Ok, I suppose I actually have to do some work now... January gets nuts very soon and my weekends are filling up.
