This is my first journal entry on my new computer, März! Thus named because I am a dork, but you already knew that. Anyway, spent a good chunk of yesterday getting him set up, and now he's buzzing away happily and working like a sweet little boy. My only qualm about him is that his front USB slot keeps falling out of place: I'll have to get that fixed somehow or I'll have to open him up every time I want to plug something in. :|
Phoenix is sitting behind me, wujuju. I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to do with him - I kind of want to keep him around here, maybe he can give tips to März and they can get along well, but my room is the smallest in the house. Ah, well, it's not like I've encountered any problems with him being there so far.
The past weekend went by reaaaally quickly. Friday was unexpectedly eventful for my black hole of a schedule, but I'm glad things turned up somehow. I hope everyone's doing alright now!
Saturday was HP 7-2 day! Okay, mems' orientation for
up_ame in the morning, endless eating and bazaar raiding in the afternoon (I got sun and moon earrings!), and then the movie in the evening. For some bizarre reason we semi-caught the premiere of a local comedy movie here, and there was minor chaos prior to the HP screening, chos.
Eventually we got in! I didn't win anything from the raffle, sadly, but whateverrrr so not bitter, nuh uh. I... won't say anything about the movie-I believe my occasional reblogging on Tumblr is more than enough-aside from that I cried pretty hard and it was a good close despite everyone that died. I didn't really feel like it was the end, but maybe it hasn't sunk in yet. IDK for me, it'll always be alive. It's an excellent story, and excellent stories don't die.
Yesterday was family bonding day in which chicken and ice cream were had. And grocery shopping! We now have a replenished supply of tissues. *U* Most of the night was devoted to setting up März, which actually continued onto this morning. And I finally got around to some of the things I was procrastinating on, huzzah!
The weather's been pretty warm lately. I've been having on-off bouts of queasiness and tummy rumbling - nothing too serious, but occasionally troublesome. I hope it's not because of anything I ate at school. I've already cut down my range of foods to ones I can save on, and to have to cut them down further would be really bad. ;A;
It's a school day again tomorrow. I really feel like I'm living for the weekends nowadays. I'll probably end up working for the vacations, too. XD
