El Nino, why you do this?
Math 14 exam today. Skipped Anthro 1 make-up class for it, hruu. I hope nothing too important was discussed. :( The exam was okay, except for these two questions that I completely blanked out on. I hope I did well regardless! ;A;
Went to do fieldwork at Marikina with mirai_kazuko and ydpsh afterwards. The barangay captain was really nice, answering all our questions and playing along with our weird filming. We should make him a little song afterwards! We got good data, which was really nice.
Afterwards, we wandered all over the barangay to check out some of the structures and ended up at the river because I wanted to see it. There was this statue of two giant hands cupping a baby, which was a bit freaky. Across the river were animal statues, too!
Walked along the riverbanks all the way to SM Marikina. There were some construction workers hanging around, and they kept jeering and stuff. They mentioned a "Valentina", which I didn't really get until mirai_kazuko and ydsph explained for me. The sun really hurt against our skin! The sky was painfully blue, too. Not a single cloud in the sky. I'm both happy because I missed clear blue skies, and worried because the water level really is low. I remember going to the riverbanks a few years ago and being able to walk on this pier and feed ducks and go on a boat and stuff. :(
Reaching SM was a relief. Very cool compared to outside. A bit small in comparison to other SM places, even SM Cubao, but still pretty nice. I think I spent about half of my remaining allowance from last week on food, hruu. My guilty pleasure. ;_; Tummy fat go away! ;A;
Went back to ydpsh's house before mirai_kazuko and her dad dropped me off at home. Proceeded to catch a quick dinner because I was still pretty full from the impromptu food trip before settling down to play Sims 3 for an hour. Ended up being distracted for two and a half and being too lazy for anything else than surfing. :(
