National Sales Tax?

Obama said he wanted to reduce the deficit. Naturally, to do this he's going to have to spend trillions of dollars. And NOW, a 25% national sales tax is being proposed in order to support a healthcare system that doesn't work, not even in Europe.
the USA's highest concentration of MRI machines is on our northern border. Wonder why? Because Canadians can't get the MRIs they need with their nationalized "free" medicine due to long waits, so they HAVE to use our private system in order to stay healthy.
So yeah, let's endanger the lives of our citizens and slaughter the economy that's made us THE world power in technology, military, and economy over the last 50 years. That sounds smart, right? It's the kind of "smart" we've put into the oval office and into congress. That way, we'll become less productive - just like Europe! GWB may have spent money like a liberal, but at least he wasn't THIS dense. Obama's going to beat success out of us if it's the last thing he does.
