Snap to focus
It just hit me... I haven't been gathering like terms. They're disguised a bit, but they're definitely like terms. That's why I struggled with finding the solutions on this last homework set.
Also, OU needed Tech to win today, and that's just what happened. Felicidades. Now all we have to do is beat them when they come to Norman. Barring THAT, though, I'll definitely be pulling for them to win the NC when the time comes. Betting on winners head-to-head, I'd be ready to take just about anyone in the south against most of the rest of the country. ('just about anyone', of course, leaving out A&M. They're really really bad this year.) As far as actually WANTING people to win, I feel like the only teams I could really pull for getting the National Championship from the South are OU and TTU. I... just really don't like Texas, and OSU is out of the picture so I don't have to mention how much I dislike them. Tech has Mike Leach, though, and he did OU good back in 99.
My bouts of "The Christmas Spirit" have started. I believe the frequency of said occurances has increased because the air usually carries a bit of chill and the smell of dried leaves nowadays, and seeing as how I've lived in the South most of my life, that's what I've come to associate with The Season To Be Jolly. Maybe one of these days I'll go live somewhere else for a while. I've got the south/central US and the east coast, now all I need is some time on the west coast and some in the north.
