Wooo! I’m done with all my exams for now…that is until my Calc exam next week. >< I already know I didn’t score my top on these exams, but I’m sure to do much better next time. :3 I’m sure there won’t be any more deaths or misfortunes to put me in a slump like I was last month. ^^; *knocks on wood*
Leo left for the navy yesterday…
My cousin came over for dinner yesterday, she’s leaving this Sunday for Korea to teach English. *Is jealous* On the bright side I’m sure she wouldn’t mind picking up some b-band merchandise for me lol
I've been having a YuYu Hakusho marathon and I've reached the part where there is a giant gap in our collection. *fail* like not cool man, not cool. If I'm going to have a marathon I'd like it if I'm not missing any episodes.
Winter Olympics 2010:
The opening ceremony was a bit boring >< I did like the effects with the whales. ^_^
Because of the bloody exams all week I had not chance to watch Figure skating. I only got to see a few performances.
Actor Ramble Corner:
Patrick Swayze- May he rest in peace. He was one great dancer. <3 And I swear whenever I think of him I’ll always remember: Dirty Dancing, Ghost, To Wong Foo: Thanks for everything Julie Newmar, The Outsiders, and Road House
Harrison Ford- G-d what’s not to love about Ford? He’s the action hero you just gotta love. I totally spazed when I rode the Indiana Jones ride. Lol If I were to want a father figure in my own movie I’d totally choose Ford.
Will Smith- He’s a totally awesome down to earth good looking man. Gotta love him for all his movies (even the B rated ones): The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Men In Black, I Robot, Hitch, The Pursuit of Happiness (oh that movie was so sad it killed me <3), Hancock, I am Legend, and of course ever so fantastic Independence Day. <3 <3 You also gotta love his “clean” rap music.
According to IMDB they are remaking the movie Flowers for Algernon and Will Smith has something to do with it. I’m a bit excited because I really really loved that book. <3
Haley Joel Osment- He’s one of my favorite “child” actors. Any gamers out there hopefully would know he’s the voice of Sora in Kingdom Hearts. He’s the voice of Mowgli in the Jungle Book 2, Artificial Intelligence: AI (This movie always makes me cry), The Sixth Sense (“I see dead people”), Forrest Gump
Movie:
The Fugitive- Gotta love Harrison Ford. ^_^ This movie was somewhat slow but still good. It has a lot of good actors, including Tommy Lee Jones (K from men in black). Ford is an outstanding doctor who gets blamed for his wife’s murder. He ends up on the run from the cops and in quest to find the real murder.
Air Force One - I was in a Harrison ford marathon mood. But I didn’t want to sit through Indiana Jones or the Star Wars Trilogy. XP Too long. Anyways he plays a kick butt president in this movie. :P The US helped capture a tyrannical leader. Some supporters of this leader hijack air force one with intent of using the president as hostage to get the terrorists’ leader freed. Little were the terrorist aware of the military background the president has and how kick ass he is. ^_^ It’s just one of those mindless action movies you need to watch if you are a huge Ford fan. <3 If you look carefully you may recognize other recognizable actors in this movie like William H. Macy; this guy has been in a hell lot of movies, he’s the father of the boy in Jurassic Park III, and he’s the husband in the movie Fargo.
G-d I just love this movie! Especially at the end where Harrison Ford is flying the plane, I’m on the edge of my seat watching this fight. lol
Witness- The movie was actually really boring ^^; you can’t really expect much to happen in a movie about Amish people lol. Basically watch the first few minuets where the Amish kid witnesses a murder. Fast forward to the part where Ford is dancing in the barn to the song “don’t know much about history” and then fast forward to the scene where he decks a tourist, and finally fast-forward to the end fight scene as the whole story comes to an end.
