ブレイド食堂いらっしゃいませ & ブレイドブレード
This is the only Heisei series I have never finished watching --- I never cared much for it, but the DCD episodes set in the World of Blade were certainly quite entertaining.
Tsukasa is now the Chief Waiter of BOARD, the organization fighting the Undead. Depending on their members' performance, they can be promoted or demoted by BOARD's president Hajime Shijou/Kamen Rider Chalice.
To the World of Blade also arrives Kamata, now as Paradoxa Undead, the only enemy never seen in the original series, and also the fantastic monster design used for Gackt's PV Journey through the Decade !
Hiroki Suzuki (not Zukkii) portrayed Kazuma Kendate/Kamen Rider Blade well, just like the new Hajime/Chalice. I really did not care much for the other two, specially the new Mutsuki/Kamen Rider Leangle.
The three women assisting Tsukasa in BOARD were extremely annoying. How disappointing that they were not eliminated by some random Undead.
The action sequences were more entertaining this time, IMO. DCD used his Ryuki card twice as well, and they added some really nice effects to the final fight against the new Joker and Paradoxa Undead.
Another favourite; Kamen Rider Todoroki also made an appearance, as one of the Riders summoned by Kamen Rider Diend -- character who will officially make his entrance in the World of Faiz.
For his Final Form Ride, Blade becomes... well, a blade. Adding a Rider Kick after the sword slash would probably have made it more exciting, me thinks. Still pretty cool, though.
The next stop is the Smart Brain Highschool.
