J-Rock Matters and YES 933 flumpool [experience] Live Showcase
I met so many awesome people; old friends, new friends. I caught the towel that Ogura Seiji threw to the audience (!!!!!!!!!), won the lucky draw for flumpool's autographed poster (!!!!!!!!!) and got my name personally called by Amakawa Genki-san (MY BIAS!!!!!!!!!). What more could I ask for? More stable pair of hands to take proper non-blurry pictures, maybe.
Went to MML with Ferly and Lihui and started camping at around 3 pm. By then there were already so many people camping, and flumpool will only start performing at 9 pm. Windy came over while queueing for the live at Beer Market cause we literally waited stubbornly outside the overly-packed chibi location. Didn't manage to catch WEAVER and flumpool at Beer Market cause of the eeeeeeextra long queue. WHY DID THEY NOT ASK WEAVER TO PERFORM FOR MML TOO? ;A ; Even wanted to give up queueing and went to drink some tea at TCC to rest but thanks to Shujun's live Twitter updates we managed to return for SID's performance at about 2am. It was worth the $10 since we got a bottle of beer each, watch them perform again, and I GOT IN CONTACT WITH ALL OF SID'S MEMBERS.
Though I didn't manage to catch WEAVER's performance, I did get a 5-second glimpse of Sugimoto Yuji. I was really quite depressed about missing out on them and heard they'd appear again today, but no, I didn't get to see them again. :( Please come back soon so I can see you again, Yuji, Toru and Shota. :(
Anyway if I didn't hear this I might not have gone for the [experience] Fan Show, but I went in the end and I got to see flumpool for two days in a row. Stood at the third row from the front (in front of Genki again) and he came over so close until I could touch him. Winning the lucky draw was a real shock cause I've always been unlucky with this kind of thing. WHO WOULD'VE THOUGHT I'D GET TO HAVE GENKI PICK OUT MY NAME FROM THE LUCKY DRAW BOX AND HEAR GENKI TRY TO PRONOUNCE MY NAME (AND FAILING MISERABLY)??!! XD Spazzing like nobody's business after the whole thing ended. Sorry Wanyi if I bored you with all my dazed reactions after that.
I can't thank enough everyone who made these events possible. Amuse Inc, BARKS, especially, and of course flumpool, SID and WEAVER themselves. Other sponsors too.
