Aaahhh, I see. Now I understand your frustrations. I agree that Arthur is uke in way too many fan made forms of art. To me, as you said, both can be both dominant and submissive at any given time. Like I said, equality is important to me. I'm a huge USUK&UKUS supporter, because they both can please each other in many different ways. You'd be surprised how many people agree with our view. There are A LOT of people who like Arthur topping, because he was a strong empire at one point and he sure as hell could show Alfred a thing or two about sex. ;) And Alfred has every right to dominate sometimes, as well, because he, too, is a very powerful nation who overtook Arthur's empire. All in all, in my eyes, their relationship is based on true love. They would only show their vulnerable sides to each other, because of the trust and devotion they share. In bed, Arthur would let Alfred dominate because that shows trust and love. The same goes for Alfred allowing Arthur to make love to him.

All I'm saying is to not allow those seme/uke maniacs to get to you. If you love a character, enjoy them for who they are and how you perceive them. Take Italy for example. Many people love making him the brainless airhead in fics and sometimes it bugs me, because I know he's so much more. But I also understand why they made him that way. It's plain to see he's pretty ditsy in the series. XD Borderline A.D.D., I might add. ^^; We all have our own headcanons for the characters. If we let someone's different points of view get in the way, we wouldn't enjoy fics, fanart, or other types of media that people create. Like yesterday, someone posted fanart of Russia/Canada. I don't particularly like that pairing, but the art was really cute. *shrugs* I guess I'm more lenient when it comes to certain things. Life is too short to let the little things affect us in negative ways.
