So, I keep remembering this time my mother and I made hard candy a few years back. And I was thinking.
"How hard can it be to make hard candy into rectangular prisms?"
Answer? Not. You simply cut it into the shape you want while it's still warm. Remove the edges.
Then I thought about the food coloring.
"How hard would it be to mix it so that the candy is purplish pink?"
Not very, you just have to watch so it doesn't turn out purple or red.
Then I thought about packaging.
"It wouldn't be all that hard to rig a glowy pink-purple light in the bottom of a box so that the candy-sticks look like they're glowing."
WHABAM.
