(no subject)
Here it is. My journal updates are usually written during my Health Psychology class in the morning. I can get away with not taking notes in this class. For one thing, I can't always understand what the professor is saying ( she's foreign ) and another she posts her notes on the class website.
She's not here today. The one girl I noticed out of 100 people in this class. Today I tried to focus on the reasons I noticed her and I came up with the following:
1. She seems to be around my age.- Now whether this is true or I'm simply staring at someone who gets little sleep and is in a constant deteriorating pool of stress, I couldn't say. Hopefully.. she's just around my age.
2. She is an artistic type. Not business or fluff type. - I realize I mention this a lot. My desire for opposites in a potential mate or companion. I think I realized my attraction to this the first time I saw Doctor Octopus' wife in Spiderman 2. I would really like one of the earthy, barefoot type girls who smell like body oils ( or Bath and Body Works - Go gingerbread ! Yum. ) and occasionally eats organic foods.
I just stopped writing for a moment.. and pondered about what I've said thus far. Actually.. 'earthy' and 'artsy' do not really mean the same thing. So actually I would settle for either/or.
Perhaps I will ask her for coffee when I get my 401k check in. Unless for some reason I am aleady involved by then. Not likely. That check is due in any day now and I have a serious phobia speaking to new people *cough (girls) cough*.
Shit! Herein lies the problem. I still get nercous about not knowing how to initiate conversation with people. What do I say? How do I initiate a conversation that I eventually want to end in an invitation?
Aw hell with it. Once that check gets here I'm going to ask her. ( Heh heh... yeah right )
