Snakes on a...well, you know.
So we all went to see 'Snakes on a Plane' tonight. Well, last night; it's morning here.
The movie is campy. Cheesy beyond belief. The action equivelant of yaoi. I don't think a single person in that theater really cared. Not something I recommend for the squeamish or those afraid of bare breasts, but it's a fun thing to see if it's late at night and all your friends are with you.
It's gruesome in parts, yes. Blood, swelling, all sorts of nasty snake bite symptoms. And everything gets bitten. Yes, that too, boys. And one of those, ladies. And a dude gets swallowed by a constrictor of unknown species. However, there's also a nice bathroom sex scene in which one may view all but the genitals. A bit of a perk before the bleeding starts.
The rest of it is plain cheese. Don't expect realism or intelligence, but it's fun. With the right crowd, you'll be laughing or cheering at random intervals.
Also, Agent "Samuel L. Jackson" Flynn and his partner are totally a couple. Seriously.
