You know what one of my least favorite phrases is?

"Strong first draft".

It's such a glaring dismissal of all the work I put into my thesis that it practically defines 'damning with faint praise. I did not set out to write a 'strong first draft'. I set out to write a good paper. With edits and reviews by my two readers it will hopefully become a better paper, but I did not write a strong first draft.

Ugh. Your edits don't even make sense, you're using LRS lingo from a class I took pass/fail six months ago. What in the sam hill is a CO position? I hope my notes are somewhere so I can look it up. I shouldn't have to go to outside sources to figure out what someone is talking about when they reference sentence structure.

I mean, my life is going pretty well right now. Friends, fandom, first date, etc. But this bit just frustrates me.
