Well, it's out. The right one, anyway, the assistant was running late and he just didn't have time to handle both teeth today. However, it was the right tooth that had the infected tissue and he cleaned most of that out when he removed the tooth, so between that and the penicillin there's no real rush to have the left one out until my mouth's ( Read more... )

Yeah mine were pretty gnarly too but I had them take all four out at once and then spent the next week in an opiate induced haze.

The dentist said I wasn't allowed to keep mine since it was a biohazard, but if it mysteriously disappeared from the tray after it was sanitized and placed in an envelope that wasn't his business.

Pictures of teeth are one of my squicks, so I'm very glad you just linked to them. <3 (Which is way more thoughtful than another friend who actually put images of her root canal right in her post. XD; )

But anyway! Glad you got that tooth and that infection taken care of when you did! <33333 Also, glad that the procedure went as well as it did.
