I'm stuck between "DO WANT" and "this is going to be your average secret commando team with a GI Joe label on it and all the fun parts taken out".

I believe the suits they're wearing are supposed to be some kind of nanotechnology enhancement suits or something, too. That's why they're all jumpy and fast in the video. But...Ninth as Destro.

But that's what I mean, the fun gets taken out--no shiny metal heads, no funny masks or quirks, no psuedoscience that makes physicists and engineers flock to bars in droves. Exactly when did the wacky go out of action flicks?

Well, to be honest, I like the idea of making a "serious movie" out of something like G.I. Joe. If I want wackiness, I can go back and watch the cartoons. In movies, I like to see things like, "what would this be like in the real world."
