Who: Kirihara Akaya & Itsuki Marehiko
What: Akaya meets his new roommate
When: back when Icchan entered the uni XD
Where: their room
Rating: PG

Akaya just came back from a run and now sat in the middle of the Room playing Projekt Zero 4 on his WII. He was already pretty far and the Ghosts he had to photograph were stronger and much meaner that at the start but the Story slowly evolved and just like in the other three games, he felt pity for the poor girls who had to be sacrificed and now were haunting him. Akaya didn’t know that he would get a roommate today, nobody told him. If he would have known he probably had cleaned the room a bit and wouldn’t play one of the scariest games right now.

Itsuki stood outside the door to the room and hesitated a moment. This was the right room, right? He thought it was. He raised his hand and knocked on the door.

Akaya didn’t hear the knock. he was too fixed on his ghost hunt as if he would realize anything around him. Well he would probably realize Sanada’s raging aura if he would be too late to practise, but there was no Sanada so he was lost in his game completely.

Itsuki waited for a moment, then knocked again, harder this time. He rubbed his knuckles when he knocked a bit too hard the last time, and waited again.

Finally Akaya heard something and pressed pause before he stood up and went to the door and almost ripped it open to stare at the boy standing in front of him. “Yes?”, he asked a bit pissed because he just was in the middle of a fight.

Itsuki jumped, somewhat startled, when the door opened. “I... I was told I was going to live here, so.. Hi..” he blushed, and didn’t really know what to say.

For a moment Akaya just stared at the other boy. “Oh.....uh...Ooooh, Yeah... sorry come in.. I didn’t know I got a roommate.”, Akaya said quickly and stepped aside so the other boy could come in. “I would have cleaned a bit if I had known that. Mah, can’t be helped now. I’m Kirihara Akaya”, he said and held out a hand.

Itsuki followed the other boy into the room, and when Akaya reached out his hand, he took it and smiled. “I’m Itsuki Marehiko.” Then he looked around the room and gaped. It was quite untidy, looked quite a lot like his little sisters’ room what with the mess. He blinked a little and caught sight of the game. “Do you like horror games? Why?”

“Nice to meet you Itsuki-kun”, Akaya nodded and let himself fall into his bed and then also looked at the screen where the Ghost could be seen how he wanted to attack him. “Uhm... yeah I like them”, he shrugged and grabbed the Wii mote and just turned the Wii off. He could play that part again later. “I don’t know why.” Perhaps it had something to do with him knowing that there are things that are even scarier that him.

Itsuki nodded. “Oh, okay.” He pulled his bag to the other bed and sat down on it. He attempted to open it, but the bag didn’t seem to want to cooperate. Why was he surprised? It happened quite often, after all. He frowned and tugged harder, and winced as his fingers slipped and accidentally hit the lock. He let out a low mutter of why’s and sucked on his hurt fingers.

Akaya watched this whole scene for a while before he stood up and stood in front of Itsuki. “You need help with that?”, he asked and crouched down to look at the bag. And tried to open it. It was pretty hard but Akaya wouldn’t give in so easily. Eventually he finally managed to open it. “So, here”, he said with a slight smile.

Itsuki looked up at Akaya. “Ah, yeah.” When Akaya had opened it, Itsuki smiled at him. “Thanks. You can call me Icchan if you want, by the way.” He fumbled with the contents in the bag and pulled out a stack of folded t-shirts. “Can I call you Akaya?”

Akaya got up again and let himself fall on his bed again. “Sure you can”, Akaya nodded with a smile. “We’ll be together quite some time after all when we have to share a room. So i think ce can call each other by the first name... or the nickname”, he said with a grin.

Itsuki smiled again, wider this time, and picked out a few books about seashells and clams and the sea, and placed by the head of the bed. “Where can I put my clothes?” he asked and tilted his head to the side. He picked up a couple of pants from the bag and placed by the t-shirts.

“The left side of the wardrobe is still free”, Akaya said and pointed at the only wardrobe in the room. It had two separate parts that could be locked separate.

“Ah.” Itsuki nodded. “Right. Thanks.” He went over to the wardrobe and put in the pants, then went back to the bed and got his t-shirts and some other items from the bag and placed in the wardrobe. He hung up the t-shirts and a couple of shirts on hangers. Then he returned to the bed and sat down to continue to dig around in the bag.

Akaya watched the other unpack for a moment before he shifted slightly and got hold of his PSP. He started it and continued his crisis core game.

Itsuki glanced at the screen as he heard sounds from it and then turned back to his bag. It was almost empty now, he noticed. But there was something not there that he thought he’d put in the bag. “Eh? Nande?” He dug around and emptied his bag on the bed, but what he was looking for was still not there. “Why?”

Akaya didn’t really payed attention on what Itsuki was doing but as he heard him speak again he looked op from the game in his hands and looked confused in what the other was doing. “What’s wrong?”, he asked.

“I can’t find Clam-chan..” Itsuki replied without looking up from his search. He stood and hurried over to the wardrobe to look there.

“Clam-chan?”, Akaya asked confused, “What is that?” He stood up to follow Itsuki to the wardrobe.

“Clam-chan is Clam-chan.” Itsuki replied. “She’s a stuffed clam-plushie. And I can’t find her.” He sighed and sat down on the bed with a pout. “I’m sure I packed her though..”

A plushie? How old was that guy? 5? “Well I didn’t see any plush when you unpacked. Perhaps you forgot to pack it”, he said and had to contain a roll of his eyes.

Itsuki continued to pout and then sighed as he flopped down on the bed. He had to call home later to see if it was there. He rolled onto his stomach and looked at Akaya’s game. “What’s that game? Is it fun?”

Akaya shook his head slightly before he looked back at his PSP which lay on his bed and played the intro-melody. “Uh yeah. It’s Crisis Core”, he said and couldn’t imagine anybody not knowing of any of the Final Fantasy parts, so that explanation was detailed enough for him.

Itsuki blinked slowly and nodded. Well, he had heard about it, but never played it. “Okay.” He sat up again and started to pick with the last things that lay on his bed.

Akaya once again shook his head and went back to his bed to curl up on it and continue playing. “Ah....”, He suddenly remembered, “By the way. You can play my Wii and PS2 games but don’t overwrite my save-states or I have to kill you”, he said, nodding to the TV and the two consoles there.

“Eh?” Itsuki got an uncertain expression on his face. “Kill me? Eh? But-- Eh?” Was it the same kind of ‘kill’ as his older siblings always threatened with- he hated being tickled - or was it in some other way? He pouted slightly and looked at Akaya with wide eyes.

“Yes kill you. Very slowly and painful”, he said with a dark voice before laughing wicked. Though the wicked laugh soon changed into a funny laugh as he saw Itsuki’s face. “Now, did you really believe me?”, though he couldn’t blame him. Most people sensed that something was wrong with him from the beginning so they were scared of him pretty quickly.

“Ah, well..” Itsuki fidgeted a little. “Nee-san and Nii-san say that a lot, it can get a bit..intense...?” he tried to explain. He had gotten somewhat scared by the wicked laugh, but he calmed down fairly much once Akaya stopped. “So I just... wanted to ask..?”

“Intense?”, Akaya asked and looked up from his game for a moment.

“..they like to tickle people..” Itsuki muttered and poked at a seashell. “..a lot..” He pouted and frowned slightly.

“Tickling is something for sissies if you ask me. I prefer a good fight”, he said, “ But I won’t do anything, don’t worry. I promised somebody.”

“..oh..” Itsuki nodded. “Okay.” He put away all things but his seashell-box, and started to pick out the shells and put on the bedsheets. He was still focused on Akaya, though. “But that’s good, right?” he smiled.

“What? That I won’t do anything?”, he asked and frowned slightly as he saw the other putting the seashells on his bed. “What the hell are you doing?”, he asked.

“Yeah. Isn’t it?” Itsuki blinked. “Just picking with them a little. They’re pretty.” he said with a smile and brushed a finger over a blue-glittering shell. “I collect them.”

Akaya lifted an eyebrow and rolled his eyes. “If you say so”, he sighed and finally returned to his game. That guy was strange if you asked Akaya. But well as long as he wouldn’t bother him too much everything would be okay.

“Yup.” Itsuki smiled brightly and looked at Akaya for a short moment, before returning to his seashells.
