Virus - XP Internet Security 2010
I picked up this jolly little number simply visiting LiveJournal entries. It has taken me four days to rid my computer of it - and I will probably reformat anyhow, as I am still unsure I have zapped it all. Naively, I assumed LiveJournal was safe.
On the plus side, I have learnt a whole lot about how the Windows registry works, how to re-enable task manager, safe mode, the Control panel, Symantec LiveUpdate etc., what the "hosts" file does... Makes me inclined to take up virus writing, to see if I can do better than the inconsiderate twat who took up so much of my time.
