Say no to the Amero.
The Amero is the attempt by our Presidency or President and Congress in general to establish a new currency in line with the Euro. As far as I'm concerned this is absurd. The economics of the United States with Canada and Mexico is totally different compared to Europe. This is like assuming the United States is made up of 4 big separate countries or 8 as well as Canada with maybe 2 for Mexico. Europe on the other hand IS a large landmass chopped up quite a bit, maybe into 12-16 pieces, those all separate countries. For some other's are a stone's throw away, even like a state's distance away here.
Trying to shoehorn European economic policy into a vastly different economic system seems wholeheartidly absurd to me especially when we'd be having to float a dead weight like Mexico. I also want to hear how this WON'T crash the Social programs Canada has and ours furthermore.
And if this is a trading block like I already assume where do our agricultural standards lay? Will they be weakened to Canada's Organic standards?
