I know some of you might be wondering why I'm not talking about this Hurricane well I was reading someones response to a friends post and it just made me angry. He said Libs are blaming the Hurricane on Bush and damn straight we're not.
But let's get off this topic right now. We know Mr.Bush wanted to start a war in Iraq using a connection between Al Quaida and Sadaam but even if you don't believe that and think I'm living in lala land you still have to wonder why Bush or any of his people didn't plan ahead just in case the consequences to the occupation are as dire as they seem now. Some of you may think I'm exaggerating. News flash dickhead, I'm not talking about winning, I'm talking about the troops with their fucking arms and legs blown off by mines or having to be amputated because of loss of blood and severe damage or whatever. Now we're looking at a shortfall for the VA and I'm sure the bill has passed or I'm hoping it has.
My question is this, why didn't Bush or anyone in his cabinet maybe think about this ahead of time, a long term occupation? Oh WAIT! Colin Powell sure thought this wasn't gonna be easy but he was fired. My point is the Republicans, without really blinking much, passed that HUGE defense bill with no amount for the VA. Would it have been THAT hard to take it into account? One can argue this or that but I think it's frankly because they don't care, it could've hit the mark or not. If they did hit the mark, so much the better, if they didn't, just try to ignore it.
It's really funny the media bias towards the Republicans when it comes to the media and don't give me that Liberal bias shit. No one has thrown Bush over the coals for these base closings except for perhaps Liberal and neither has the mainstream media given him much if any. Pfft "Liberal Media Bias" my ass Sean. If this was Clinton you'd give him utter shit, I don't know about the mainstream media but you and Limbaugh and the rest of him with potentially uncaring media beside equals -1 for him and +1 for Bush.
Honestly both of these parties supposedly have their glaring faults, Republicans for racism, rather Conservative Politicians and Democrats and Liberals seem to have a problem with the Military or whatever. Frankly I think the Liberals and Democrats have LEARNED, something their political opposition hasn't when it comes to Blacks, mixed Europeans that are tan(frankly I'm not going to give you the rights to term yourself as a different race since you're just mixed blood of Spanish and Central American Indians and so on though I will admit you can be treated wrong) and Asians. Also instead of Republicans embracing any minority since they have so little, they first force them(for the most part), to expouse EXTREMELY Right Wing ideologies, Alan Keyes and Michelle Malkin comes to mind. Both of these people are Far Right. Here's how it seems to me. If you're Black, you must make the rest of you take two steps back. The ONLY exception to this rule that comes to mind is Colin Powell though he probably joined before the Republican party had been hijacked by the Neocon's.
Now let me explain to you WHY the Right does what they do with minorities, or at least the Neocon's in charge now. Say you're a Liberal politician, albeit Democratic or Independent, rather Democrat, well you say you don't approve of someone being sent by the Republicans to the Supreme Court and they happen to be Black or whatever. Well according to Sean Hannity now you're a racist because some obscure logic plays in here, they use the idea of other Blacks calling them Uncle Tom's or whatever. Regardless Republicans ARGUE for no Affirmative Action and that they want hiring pracitices to be fair. Well on that same note one can argue, looking at most of these minority judges Bush has selected, most tend to take a hard Right stance that most if not ALL Democrats would not agree with. What's wrong with what the Democrats are doing now? Are they being racist? Certainly not. If you look at judges the Administration tends to appoint they're Far Right and Democrats would just as fervently resist a WHITE Far Righter as they would a Black one, one only needs to look so far as Neil Boortz. Granted I'll admit I did find the jokes some of the Democrats launched about Condi Rice being nominated for Secretary Of State after Colin Powell left quite funny but yeah I guess Whites need to stop. Regardless Condi Rice is just like the rest of Bush's Administration, she just happens to be Black.
