Let's start by talking about the dance show. Friday: i thought the show went excellent except for a few long pauses inbetween the dance numbers. During buttercup, everything went smooth, and i think that it was the best performance my partner and i did throughout the whole rehersals and such. In one part of the song there's a line that says "You never call babe when you say you will." And when that line hits, all the guys take out cellphones but since i'm not hip on the technology of today, i did not have a cellphone. Connor found this green rotary phone in the orchestra room, so i took the reciever and that was my phone. I don't know how to explain that feeling you get when you actually on stage, it's excelerating, a rush. As soon as i came off stage i was so hyped, and my hands were shaking a little from the adrenaline. I couldn't believe i actually went out there and did it. Mully j, davis, and rebecca came to show their support which was really cool.
after the dance, davis mully j and i had a few drinks up in my room with lou reed playing live in our room. I still can't believe that we killed an entire bottle of vodka in a matter of a few hours. Davis wrote something on my hand when i was staring at my ceiling watching it spin and change from white to black. The messages on my hand read, "Monkey butts are cool." and "For a good time call 865-42014, him gay, bieatch." We took a walk around the block and you know it's a good night when you take a piss in the middle of the road and then walk 30 feet and yak. hmmm good times.
Saturday: Dance show again, but this time i had to be in the front and i guess i was little more nervous because now i couldn't look at other people to see what move was next. But we did okay, i messed up a few times and i mean who doesn't, even the great Fosse messed up at times. Oh and a cool story about Fosse. He was choreographing a dance with all the dancers and he was smoking a cigarette. And after the dance, the cigarette was just one long stick of ash, he took it out of his mouth and flicked the ash away. Thats pretty impressive.
I left early, right after my dance, got home and watched The Incredibles and let me tell you something, it was incredible. Wow, i bet no one said that one before. Anyway, it's my favorite pixar movie and i think one of my favorite animated movie.
I'm getting sick and it sucks and my mom is screaming at the tv, she's watching the ncaa college basketball tournament and it's really fucking annoying.
