Aaah I forgot!! I have an assignment! Dammit! @_@ But the professor isn't all that strict, though. He doesn't even check the attendance! I'm talking about EL 170: Translation Theories here. My professor, according to him, has been a translator for around 30 years now. Of course, it's really helpful to learn from someone who's in the industry for a long time. Even though we've met only twice so far, I've picked up some helpful things from him, and they make me realize that translation isn't just about putting your feet up when you feel like it, or being choosy with your translations. It's still work, but people pay you to get bored.
I've just discovered One Manga, because I finally got around to reading Midnight Secretary, a rec from Achi (mithlin_megil). I've been on my toes the whole time I was reading it, in case my sister suddenly sneaks up on me while I'm reading (especially on the steamier parts). I'd like to spend my weekend reading manga, so does anyone have nice recommendations for me? :D
When I get back to Manila, I have to work on the exhibit Kuya Johnny's asking me to do. Arrgh! I don't even know what to put and how to make it... Dammit! I can do this! ...I hope.
And and! I just got my yearbook earlier. IT FUCKING SUCKS. I hate our yearbook! Waaah!
