I've been going home by myself for the past two semesters, that I feel like I'm an experienced bus traveler. Although I haven't experienced harassment (well, physical) and kidnapping or hijacking or whatever. Anyway, my point is, my favorite seatmates are old men. Old men tend to be shrunken, therefore taking little space, and quiet. Whereas an old woman would certainly be traveling with a tribe of little children and raising a fuss, an old man would sit quietly, and sometimes, teach me the basics of moving the seat forward or backward. *nods sagely* I hate the chatty middle-aged men. One repeatedly tried to get my number and took up my space. As I was just recovering from a fever that day, my tart tongue wasn't ready for the occasion.
I don't know why I posted such a useless piece of information.
Anyway, I remember the time when I was traveling with my friend, and we were watching Kyou Kara Maoh while the bus was running. After the fifth episode, I was ready to vomit, and probably looked green because my friend was hurriedly moving his purchases to get a free plastic bag for me, which he held out to me, along with offers of a danish or a blueberry pie. Hehehe.
Just my Philosophy finals on Tuesday, and then I am so free.
Hoshit. THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE. Beautiful. Heartbreaking. Staggering. Go read, please. Henry, your sexiness is my inspiration for philosophy. Please quote Calvin and Hobbes if ever I am pregnant with child. @_@ Thank you so much,
kismet_entropy! *worships you*
Finished also with David Sedaris's Me Talk Pretty One Day. It's pretty hilarious. XD Those two were from the pile Anne gave me, and now I'm up to Gregory Maguire's Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. I'd like to read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister too! I remember reading a rec for it in a magazine. ^^
Aside from a splitting headache from cold-hot-cold temperatures, I'm happy. I have cake, I have books... I have to do my paper, shit! Okay, okay I can do it! Don't panic!
