I want to be cremated. Y'know, when I die - 'cause now could really be a pain. Literally.
I'd rather not last for a few more years underground before slowly decomposing, although I can think of worse things than being fertiliser. The world's apparently struggling enough that a bit of extra nutrition would probably help. it.
And headstones? One of them little plaque-things would be good, with a couple of words on it and thats all. Or maybe a stupid quote. I've got, hopefully, a while to find a good one. Let people 50 years from my death look at it and wonder...
I just really hope no one sticks a picture of me on the headstone. 'cause, really, appearance doesn't really matter, and words are both easier to remember and can be a lot funnier (I think... though it would depend on the picture they chose).
Come to think of it, even better than a plaque of any kind would be a tree. Something NZ native like a kauri. Or a feijoa tree! I love feijoas and that way everyone else could too.

And no one should wear black. Colour's more my thing - the brighter the better. And the whole solemnity thing? Seems kinda silly. I'll be dead so I won't care. Tell all those embarassing stories instead and laugh. I'm sure such stories exist somewhere...
