Probably the least eventful Halloween I've had in years, and it was wonderful.
Trick or treating, The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, candy sorting with Little Cailtin, Little Emily and Maddie.
Dance party, falling asleep during zombie movies with almost everyone else
Even though I didn't have a costume for Halloween Celebrations Part II (someone drove by and threw water at everyone. It was freezie cold), I was pretty happy with how everything went.
I fell asleep at Celia's with that feeling that everything is just right. You know the one?
Lately I've been feeling this really intense aching for a couple years ago. I want to go back to that Winter break two years ago when I felt like the world was there for me to explore. It's nostalgia, but worse. Almost painful.
Anyway. Last night that went away, and I was just happy to be exactly where I was. Wedged on the couch with Emily and Zz and Logan, cold and tired and excited.
I want to feel like that all the time.
I think that feeling will be the theme for the rest of the Holiday Season.
I hope at least.
Luckily I'm not like my friends, in that I don't have a deep aversion to the Holidays. In fact, I love them.
Especially with Breyell and I planning for Thanksgiving (and Christmas, already). I am so excited.
I just have to remember to stay positive and happy (which I've clearly forgotten a lot lately)
And everything will be juuuust riiiight
