Savannah had been going to the doctor pretty regular. Not with any appointments or anything, just often enough to know things were progressing as they should be. And now she was sixteen weeks and the books all said it was about time for an ultrasound. The books also said she might be feeling the quickening soon and she'd been paying attention and she hadn't. She made the decision to go by herself so that if there was bad news Logan and Jack wouldn't have to be witness to it.
She peeked her head into the clinic with a sunny smile on her face. When she stepped in she looked perfectly fine. Healthy and not particularly curvy or anything in her flowing summer dress.
"Hello, doctor," she said, picking out the woman who she'd seen in here before but hadn't met. "Are you busy today? I wanted to see someone."
