47 - Buy it use it break it fix it
I think this is the first time this place has changed my wardrobe without my consent for the better. I could handle keeping these duds. The goggles are pretty snappy, too. Not sure what to do with this enormous wrench, though; I never was terribly handy, I'm afraid.
Should we take bets on whether or not the snow sticks around this time?
[Just popping in off hiatus to deliver a few Christmas gifts from Axel. Deliveries will be made on the 24th and 25th, depending on who is free when and so on... and are as follows:
Kagerou: two cookbooks--one on desserts, and the other 365 Ways to Cook a Potato. that's one for every day of the year!
Rosalind: an chemistry book he found at the bookstore that probably weighs more than he does, and a bunsen burner he found in the yard and had repaired. this may in fact have been a very very bad idea.
Toushi: a box of band-aids and a slip of paper that reads IOU: one spar. lol running gag. there may or may not also be three or four chocolate bars hidden under the manlier part of the gift.
Smoke: a swanky looking brown jacket. because, hey, having a swanky jacket is a right, not a privilege. also a note that says, 'we should talk; it's been a while.'
Nova: a small stuffed dog. it's a Husky, because he liked the blue eyes; he knows she likes dogs, but wasn't sure which kind was her favorite.
Kurayami: a new chair. no, seriously. it's a nice one.
Grift: a set of plates. he's been practicing. sorry about the ones he broke in the meantime. >.>
Cloud: a bottle of sake--hope it's one he likes, cuz he still has no idea what the hell the label says.
Gai: a pair of nunchucks. yes, that's a joke. XD;
Genius: a bag of chips that claim to taste like pizza. this seemed a logical combination of his usual love of starches and his love of pizza, so he hopes they're good.
King: it might strike the recipient a little odd or out of the blue, but Axel happened across a swanky chess piece during one of his trips to the yard: a white marble king. it seemed appropriate.
