my cervical spine
so what's been going on in the wonderful world of emily? lets see. i went to NYC to see the shoulder doctor, he did a bunch of x-rays and told me my shoulder was fine, but my neck was fucked up. so i got an MRI of my cervical spine.
jess came up for the week after said MRI. we had a great fucking time. i was really sad to see her go :(
i took my finals... so far i have an A in philosophy and a B in math. other grades are still pending.
my doctor called me back about my MRI. i have several levels of dessicated discs in my neck. basically our discs are like marshmallows. all light and soft and fluffy. my discs are like lucky charms marshmallows, dehydrated and sitting on top of one another compressing nerves. so i have to go to yet another specialist. the best part is since it's so close to x-mas there's no way im getting in anywhere until after the new year. so i have to live in rediculous fucking pain and numbness until then. *sigh* you would think i was fucking 60 years old with all this medical shit.
anyway... so i have almost all of my shopping done and most of my presents wrapped. thank god. i have one more present to buy and 2 or 3 to wrap.
